STOCKBRIDGE, Mass.
The Red Lion Inn has announced it is adding another guesthouse to its guestrooms and suites. Maple Glen, scheduled to open July of this year, will bring the Inn's capacity up to 125 antique-filled rooms and suites.
Maple Glen is just a few doors down from the Main Inn, and will offer 17 new rooms, with modern amenities and decor. The expansion includes a renovation of the 2,685-square-foot Greek Revival residence, built circa 1850.
The project includes restoration of period details and an expansion of nearly 3,600 square feet to include 3 double queen-bedded rooms, 2 double queen-bedded suites, 12 king-bedded rooms, and a function space for small meetings and receptions.
