BURSA, Turkey
Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of Hilton Bursa Convention Centre & Spa and Hampton by Hilton Bursa—the company's first dual branded property in Turkey. As the first combination of a Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Hampton by Hilton brand property in Europe, guests can take advantage of the full-service and economy brands while visiting the historic city of Bursa.
The new build hotels are in a location that affords easy access to the city's cultural sites, business districts, commercial and industrial areas. The hotels offer views of Uludag Mountain and are located in Northwestern Turkey, approximately 243 kilometers from Istanbul and 453 kilometers from Ankara.
"Hilton has a unique place in the Turkish hospitality tradition, having opened the country's first international five-star hotel in 1955,” said Dave Horton, global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts. “As our footprint expands in the region we are delighted to welcome Hilton Bursa, with its contemporary style and renowned Hilton service."
The Hilton Bursa Convention Center & Spa offers 187 guest rooms including 12 suites.The property also features meeting space, including a ballroom with capacity for up to 1,200 guests and outdoor event space for up to 800 guests. In addition, there are 12 breakout rooms on site.
