Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has opened Keraton at The Plaza, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Located at Jalan Thamrin, in Jakarta, the property brings Starwood’s Luxury Collection brand up to 80 properties.
The hotel has 140 guest rooms and suites. In terms of meeting space, company materials indicate there is only a 10-person boardroom at the property.
The design of the hotel is punctuated with vivid references to Indonesia’s geography and culture. Both the architecture of the hotel and its interior have references to Indonesian culture. The hotel's interior is decorated with several artworks, as well as a gallery.
Two options for food and beverage are on site: Bengawan, which is located on the seventh floor of the hotel overlooking Jakarta; and the Keraton Lounge, located on the lobby level.
