DALLAS
Construction is under way on a $50 million makeover and upgrade of Hyatt Regency
Dallas’ 1,120 guest rooms, bathrooms and corridors, with completion set for
year end.
“We selected iconic
pieces of furniture, inspired by mid-century classics by Eames and Knoll, to
play on the iconic nature of the hotel,” said Jennifer
Johanson, principal and CEO Of EDG Interior Architecture, the design firm overseeing the project. “The rooms offer different options for both work and relaxation,
incorporating a lounge chair for reading and watching television, a comfortable
desk chair, and a chaise lounge where guests can stretch out and soak in the
fabulous city skyline views or watch a great Texas sunset on the
horizon.”
Fred Euler, general manager of Hyatt Regency Dalla“We can’t wait to showcase these new rooms to
our customers,” said Fred Euler, general manager of Hyatt Regency Dallas. “This
contemporary design has both function and form and will definitely provide a
memorable guest experience.”

Regency Dallas features 160,000 square feet of function space,
including three ballrooms, two exhibit halls, 56 meeting rooms, and 42
