DETROIT
Detroit’s Greektown Casino-Hotel is undergoing a $28.6 million improvement project that will include the addition of 850 spaces to a new valet parking garage. The additional spaces will add to the current 2,900 spaces at the casino-hotel's attached parking garage.
The casino also reportedly intends to build an elegant new restaurant on the ground floor, though no major details have yet been released regarding the new dining venue. The project also reportedly includes adding a moving walkway connecting the new valet garage to the casino.
Additional financing was secured for the upgrades through Comerica Bank, and work on the new garage has already begun. The entire project is set for completion early next year.
