WASHINGTON, D.C.
For those who were shocked and saddened in May by the sudden passing of
Gary Sain, president and CEO of Visit Orlando, here's a chance to honor
the tireless advocate of his destination.
The U.S. Travel Association plans to honor Sain on June 26 with a
tribute event at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Proceeds
will benefit the Gary
C. Sain Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund at the University of Central
Florida’s
Rosen College of Hospitality Management.
“Please join us on June 26 to honor our great friend Gary Sain, who passed
away unexpectedly, but not before making remarkable contributions to Orlando,
our industry and our country,” said Roger Dow, president and
CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, in the invitation.
