MGM Resorts International named Michael Dominguez senior vice president of sales. Dominguez joined the company June 15 and in this role provides oversight for MGM Resorts sales strategies in convention, leisure and transient segments.
Previously Dominguez served as vice president of global sales for Loews Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the sales efforts of 18 luxury hotels in the U.S. and Canada. He began his hospitality career with Hyatt in 1984 and has also represented Palm Springs Desert Resorts CVA, the Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, Calif., Sunburst Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz., Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in Austin, Texas and the Riviera in Palm Springs, Calif.
Dominguez is a HSMAI certified Hospitality Sales Executive. He sits on the MPI International Board of Directors and was recently elected Chairman.
