Are there any quirky places we should check out?
Krasniy Oktyabr / Red october Chocolate factory - the territory of the former chocolate factory became a cultural center of the capital. The current residents include the Pobeda Museum, The Lumiere Brothers Center for Photography, Strelka Institute for Media as well as a number of popular bars and restaurants.
Moscow Subway is the world's second most heavily used rapid transit systems. Each station has unique atmosphere with historical touch.
What is an unusual request from a group you’ve had?
One of the most unusual requests was that one company for their presentation wished to place a car on the terrace of O2 Lounge Bar and we made it happen by raising up the car with a lifting crane. The cost of that was about 1,000,000 Euro.
A party of 12 wants to have dinner right away. What restaurant can accommodate last-minute requests of this size?
The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow hotel offers different dining options. A party for 12 can be held in O2 Lounge with breathtaking panoramic Moscow city views or in the cozy atmosphere of Caviarterra Restaurant. For a private party we would recommend one of our banquet rooms, for example the Alma-Ata Private Dining Room.
What’s a unique event that has taken place at your property?
To highlight one particular unique event would be difficult. All events are for us unique and very special as we are working with very affluent clientele. At The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow are taking place the most significant events in the city from royal dinners to official visits of famous Hollywood actors and singers with presentations and from legendary business leaders with conferences to Charity Balls.
