Name Change for Prestigious Mexican Resort

The prestigious Wyndham Grand Bay Hotel, located on Mexico's Pacific Gold Coast, just 30 minutes north of the Manzanillo Playa de Oro International Airport (ZLO), has announced a name change to the Wyndham Grand- Isla Navidad Resort, after the recent signing of a new franchise agreement with Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel company with over 7,170 hotels.

In operation for 15 years since its opening in 1997, the 199-room deluxe resort is the centerpiece of Isla Navidad, an exclusive and secluded 1,200-acre tourist development, boasting a 27-hole championship golf course, a 207-slip private yacht marina, a 14-room boutique hotel and a residential area with private homes and villas.

The hotel offers four restaurants and three bars, serving top-quality Mexican, local and international dishes, including our award winning gourmet restaurant Antonio's, which also offers one of the largest tequila collections in the West Coast of Mexico with over 200 fine brands.

For recreation, the property offers all sorts of water activities including kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skis, windsurfing and sailing. For fishing enthusiasts, the Manzanillo area is known as the sail fish capital of the world. Also, available are three tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, three free-forming swimming pools, a private swimmable beach, a fitness center and spa. A fun kids club entertains children ages 4 to 11 and a water slide is available in one of the pools.
