South Carolina Capital Welcomes New Wyndham

Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel company with over 7,170 hotels, today announced the expansion of the upscale Wyndham® Hotels and Resorts brand in South Carolina with the addition of the first Wyndham Garden hotel in the state, the 117-room Inn at USC Wyndham Garden Columbia.

Located on the University of South Carolina’s campus in downtown Columbia and just seven miles from Columbia Metropolitan Airport, the hotel provides guests with convenient access to university events and local attractions such as Williams-Brice Stadium, Colonial Life Arena, Koger Center for the Arts and the city’s top shopping and dining destinations.

The hotel boasts over 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space in six individual rooms, ranging from the board room for small groups to the Carolina Room, which can accommodate up to 120 guests. State-of-the-art technology, catering services and audio-visual support are available on-site.

The Inn at USC Wyndham Garden Columbia is housed near historic homes built at the turn of the century that feature traditional Georgian and gothic art and design influences. The hotel is owned by the USC Development Foundation and managed by Columbia-based IMIC Hotels.

Guest rooms at the Inn at USC Wyndham Garden Columbia are appointed with flat screen televisions, complimentary high-speed wireless internet access, microwaves and refrigerators. Select suites include decorative fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, marble bathrooms and balconies.
