Brown Palace Hotel Joins Autograph Collection

DENVER

Denver's historic Brown Palace Hotel & Spa has signed on to become one of Marriott International's Autograph Collection properties, according to The Denver Business Journal. There are now 32 hotels in the program.

The Autograph Collection is Marriott's marketing network for upscale, independent hotels and resorts—such as the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and the Algonquin in Manhattan—that don't want to confine to Marriott's brand rules but want access to its enormous customer database.

The Brown Palace is the second-oldest operating hotel in Denver after the Oxford Hotel. It has hosted presidents dating back to Theodore Roosevelt. The Brown Palace Hotel isn't yet listed on Autograph Collection's website, but should appear next month.
