ATLANTA
Melia Atlanta has announced the opening of SKY twenty•five, an event space occupying the entire top floor of the 25-story midtown hotel. The space, which has floor-to-ceiling windows, features 360 degree views of the Atlanta skyline and offers panoramic views of Stone Mountain, Centennial Park, the downtown and midtown skyline.
“We had this gem of a space at the top of the hotel that was completely underutilized and undervalued,” said general manager Otto Svensson, who joined the hotel just three months ago. Since that time, Svensson has transformed the space at SKY twenty five, brought in a new sales and marketing team and food and beverage staff.
The property provides 502 rooms and suites and more than 31,000 square feet of meeting space divided among 21 rooms.
