BRANSON, Mo.
The 294-room Hilton Branson Convention Center is back in business following major tornado damage sustained in February.
The extensive damage reportedly cost in the area of $20 million to repair, including the replacement of thousands of windows at the 12-story property. New furniture and carpeting has also been installed. The property’s signature restaurant, Level 2 Steakhouse, has also re-opened, in addition to its popular cocktail lounge, Clear.
The convention center neighboring the hotel received less damage and re-opened in May. No hotel guests or employees were injured despite the severity of the tornado.
The re-opening comes about five years after the property’s original launch in August 2007.
