Riviera Maya’s 128 all-suite Rosewood Mayakoba has reopened following a four-week, $1.6 million renovation. The renovation includes the addition of 18 adjoining suites created from existing accommodations and restyled with artwork and furniture; a makeover of the resort’s distinct dining venues – Casa Del Lago Restaurant, Agave Azul Sushi Bar & Tequila Library, and Punta Bonita; remodeling and expansion of the gym at Sense, a Rosewood Spa; and new on-property experiences including the addition of a Culture Concierge and Stargazing Storyteller, Mancation getaways, and a redesigned kids club.
Rosewood Mayakoba now offers 18 connecting suites to make the resort an even more desirable destination catering to families or larger groups. The lavish suites sleep up to six guests each and are outfitted with high-end paintings and artwork by local artisans to reflect the destination’s heritage and a peaceful, soothing environment.
