GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.
CityFlatsHotel is now ready to showcase its new ballroom. Located on the second floor of the neighboring Michigan National Bank building—at 77 Monroe Center—the ornate space has mostly been concealed from the public eye for over 10 years.
The ballroom has capacity for up to 225 guests, and CityFlats aims to book it for all manner of events—from weddings to corporate meetings. On-site catering shows off menus planned by the hotel’s executive chef.
The ballroom includes a grand marble staircase leading up from the Louis Benton Steakhouse and the building’s ground floor lobby, high vaulted ceilings with detailed panels and moldings, plus detailed woodwork and dramatic columns.
The hotel also features 28 conceptually unique guest rooms, each with creative layouts and eco-friendly materials.
