The InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile has announced the opening of a kosher kitchen that will be used for banquets held within the hotel. With a new menu provided by Danziger Catering, guests who live a kosher lifestyle will be able to choose from a wide variety of custom options when planning a function in one of the property’s event spaces.
Courses available on the new menu include hot and cold hors d'oeuvres including Mini Quiche and Artichoke Bottom topped with Carrot and Ginger Mousse, buffet-style stations such as Stir-Fry, Pasta and Seafood, a Soup Bar with a choice of two Hot Soups, Salad Options such as Sauteed Wild Mushrooms, Pine Nuts & Balsamic Vinaigrette, an array of entrees such as Chicken Picatta, Rack of Lamb and Penne with Smoked Chicken, Roma Tomatoes, Olives, Grilled Onion, Spinach and Basil, a children's menu and a large variety of dessert options including Flourless Chocolate Cake and Cappuccino Mousse Torte. Upgrades in each category are also available for an added cost.
In addition to the extensive kosher menu, the InterContinental Chicago and Danziger Catering can provide the banquet event with Rabbinical Supervision to stay over Shabbat for an added fee.
The hotel is located at 505 N. Michigan Avenue and features 792 refurbished guest rooms, including 73 suites.
