Boca Raton-Area Hotel Reflags, Renovates

DoubleTree by Hilton announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Deerfield Beach, the latest addition to the DoubleTree by Hilton hotels worldwide. Owned by Continental Properties and managed by Ocean Properties, the 220-room hotel previously was a Hilton but currently is in the midst of a two-year property upgrade and will reflag under the DoubleTree by Hilton brand.

The hotel has recently added new 40-inch flat screen televisions in each guest room and upgraded HVAC in the hotel’s spacious grand ballroom. Over the next 24 months, new furnishings will enhance the guest rooms and the lobby will be renovated.

As a participant of Hilton HHonors guest loyalty program, the hotel will continue to offer guests the ability to earn hotel points and airline miles for the same stay, and Gold and Diamond HHonors members will receive complimentary high speed internet.

The property is located near three major international airports – Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International, Palm Beach International, and Miami International – and along the I-95 corridor. The property is just minutes from Florida’s Gold Coast beaches, world-class shopping at Mizner Park in Downtown Boca and Town Center at Boca Raton, and an array of award-winning restaurants. Situated on the grounds of the Deerfield Country Club, hotel guests are also able to play a round at the club’s 18-hole golf course. Additional amenities include a fitness center and Bobby Bahia’s Caribbean Grille and Lounge serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel’s 20,000 square feet of meeting space can accommodate groups of up to 800 and features the Grand Ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing for an abundance of natural lighting.

To mark the opening, DoubleTree by Hilton Deerfield Beach Boca Raton will be offering double Hilton HHonors Points through Jan. 5, 2013.
