Melia Hotels international announced that its Gran Melia Cancun will transition into the all-inclusive Paradisus Cancun. It will open in December as Melia’s fifth Paradisus property.
The new Paradisus Cancun Resort will offer 678 suites, six restaurants, five bars and 10,000 square feet of meeting space. Renovations will retain the property’s pyramid-style architecture.
Melia plans to continue the expansion its brand of its Paradisus Brand, with an opening planned for Papagayo Bay, Costa Rica, in 2013.
