Hilton's Ponce Golf & Casino Resort in Puerto Rico announced a $2.5 million upgrade, commemorating the property’s 20th anniversary.
The beachfront resort, located in Puerto Rico's second largest city, will update its outdoor leisure facilities, implement casino and golf enhancements and launch a new sustainability project to reduce energy consumption.
These renovations, combined with the rooms, dining, meetings and recreation makeover completed late last year represent a $5 million campaign welcoming guests to the “Younger than Ever” Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort.Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort’s Costa Caribe Casino has also received a significant investment.
The Hilton Ponce offers planners 254 guest rooms and more than 11,000 square feet of function space.
Casino goers can enjoy new slot machines and extended 24/7 hours.
In an effort to keep golfers happy, Costa Caribe Golf & Country Club recently debuted a new convenience store, outdoor terrace, and golf course enhancements, while a new golf cart fleet is scheduled to arrive in 2013.
Early next year, the resort plans to unveil a South Beach style lounge and club, as well as a redesign of the lobby bar. The plan, which will integrate nearly 6,000 square feet of entertainment space, will bring nightlife to a whole new level in Ponce.
The final piece to this year’s investment is a sustainability project scheduled for completion in 2013.
The program is expected to reduce energy consumption with the installation of new cooling towers, solar panels and additional power saving features.
