Vanessa Kager was appointed director of national accounts for the Dallas CVB.
Her market segment will include state and national associations as well as local corporate accounts.
Kager comes to the Dallas CVB from Corpus Christi & Padre Island CVB, where she served as director of convention sales. She previously served as senior sales manager at Marriott Austin Downtown/Convention Center, Hilton Austin Downtown/Convention Center and Starwood Austin Downtown.
Kager began her hospitality career with Wyndham and Starwood Hotels in California. She earned her CMP in 2011 and serves on the Southwest Showcase planning committee for the Texas Society of Association Executives.
