Many of the latest Westin Hotels & Resorts brand elements of well-being are being introduced for the first time in the southeast at the resort. The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa created a showcase studio that provides a virtual vignette for guests, as well as meeting and event planners to experience a preview of the resort’s amenities to come. These include a new lobby concept featuring a fresh vertical garden which improves indoor air quality and offers guests a breath of fresh air; customized front desk design with check-in pods and concierge pods that allow for personal guest interaction. Thoughtfully designed zones with acoustic screens creating areas where guests can relax together or work privately have been planned throughout the public spaces. The resort’s conference space will be completely renewed and equipped for Clutter Free Meetings allow attendees a relaxed setting focused on productivity. The restaurants and bars will be enhanced with new venues including an outdoor ocean view bar and the Westin lobby Grab and Go café ingredients. The resort will continue to feature the Westin brand’s signature SuperFoodsRX® menu, which includes options for every palate.
The renovation is scheduled to be completed by spring 2013.
