Hilton Dallas Park Cities will celebrate the completion of its multimillion dollar, renovation project at 5954 Luther Lane in Dallas on Thursday.
The redo was part of a larger $3 billion, three-year plan to renovate the Hilton Hotels & Resorts global portfolio.
The renovations began after new hotel owner Apple REIT Nine Inc. realized the hotel had a strong potential for growth, said Justin Knight, president of the real estate investment trust.
The makeover includes enhancements to the hotel's landscaping and exterior, a redesigned open lobby and bar, rooftop saltwater swimming pool and fitness center and a revamped 4,000-square-foot ballroom. The hotel also has a new farm-to-table restaurant Grain, which opened in October.
