New Hilton for Houston

A brand-new Hilton Garden Inn Houston NW – America Plaza, a full-service, upscale property with 172 guestrooms and 6,500 square feet of conference center meeting and event space, has opened at Highway 290 and Beltway 8.

 

The first Hilton Garden Inn to open in the area is a modern-designed hotel with bold colors and top amenities for leisure guests and business travelers alike.

 

Each of the property’s guestrooms include Hilton Garden Inn’s Garden Sleep System® bed and hypoallergenic pillows, a 40” HD flat-screen television, in-room safe, MP3 alarm clock, oversized work desk with ergonomic chair and a hospitality center with microwave and refrigerator. Its suites offer the same upscale amenities with the addition of a separate bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. Plus, each guestroom at the property is fiber-optic wired for the highest possible wireless Internet speed.

 

The new Hilton Garden Inn Houston NW – America Plaza houses functional Conference Center space divisible into nine meeting and event spaces including the America Plaza Ballroom with theater-seating capacity of 526. The Conference Center also houses an HD Videoconferencing Room.

 

Other touches include an outdoor fire pit, pool, whirlpool and fitness center as well as complimentary remote printing which allows guests to print a document, email message or attachment from any computer or smart phone to one of the hotel printers in its Business Center.

 

Its three-meal restaurant, the Garden Grille & Bar, is open to the public presenting a full buffet and cook-to-order breakfast daily. The restaurant serves dinner seven days a week and lunch on weekdays.

 

The property is near several major employers including Weatherford, National Oilwell/Varco, Cooper Cameron. Moreover, the eco-friendly property will seek a designation of LEED Gold Certification, one of the highest environmental rankings bestowed on a building by the U.S. Green Building Council and the first in Houston.
