Caesars Entertainment has announced that it is now managing and operating the Mid-America Center, located in Council Bluffs, Iowa, adding to the company’s meetings and events portfolio of nearly 40 properties across the United States.
Conveniently located in the growing city of Council Bluffs and within five minutes of Omaha, Nebraska, the Mid-America Center combines big-city facilities and attractions with Midwestern hospitality. Featuring nearly 64,000 square feet of spacious exhibition and meeting space, the Mid-America Center also offers access to more than 200 guest rooms and varied dining, entertainment and shopping options at neighboring Harrah’s and Horseshoe Council Bluffs.
The 24,000-square-foot convention center features two ballrooms and eight individual breakout rooms with banquet seating capacity of up to 1,500. In addition, the Mid-America Center offers 24,500 square feet of exhibition space and 15,000 square feet of pre-function space. The multi-purpose facility also includes a pillar-free 30,000-square-foot arena with a maximum capacity of 9,000 for general sessions and special events. The arena also offers 12 luxury suites ideal for intimate gatherings.
