On-property at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa: Aerie Lounge on the 16th Floor of the Tower for a quiet, romantic place–Jack’s Sports Bar on the lobby level to catch the game–The Clubhouse Grille in Summer. Off property: Kilkenney’s Irish Public House in downtown Traverse City.

Can you recommend a good place to take a stroll?  

On Property: The approximately 2.5 miles of paved walking paths on the Resort grounds.  Off property:  The nearby Traverse Area Recreation Trail (T.A.R.T Trail )

Are there any quirky places we should check out? 

The Music House Museum, about a mile north on US 31 from the Resort.

What is an unusual request from a group you’ve had? 

A request for directions to see the headstone of Traverse Colantha Walker, a grand champion Holstein that was the world’s record milk producing dairy cow that died in Traverse City on January 8, 1932.

A party of 12 wants to have dinner right away. What restaurant can accommodate last-minute requests of this size?
