TSA PreCheck Now Available in 35 Airports

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced that Orange County, Calif.’s John Wayne Airport will be the 35th airport in the nation to offer PreCheck security.

The programs allows frequent fliers from certain airlines, including Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and US Airways, to be pre-screened and pass through specially designated security lines when travelling domestically.

According to U.S. Travel, approximately five million passengers have been screened nationwide, out of the two million people travelling by air daily. The organization commended TSA on continuing the transition "from a one-size-fits-all approach to a more intelligence-driven, risk-based transportation security system."
