What service can you provide to groups that they normally might not receive?
For smaller groups, I can be their main contact for all of their dining, transportation, excursion, and show ticket needs. This allows the meeting planner to work with one Concierge who is an educated city ambassador. For larger groups, Caesars Palace Concierge only works with the best companies in Las Vegas, so I can assist them in reaching out to the right person to plan their experiences.
What are your bar or nightclub recommendations?
At Caesars Palace, we are fortunate to provide a fantastic nightclub called Pure that has an amazing balcony overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. Not only is it a great venue, but it’s very convenient for those groups staying at Caesars Palace or our other center-Strip properties.
Can you recommend a good place to take a stroll?
In my opinion, the best stroll in the world is the Las Vegas Strip. I would suggest starting your stroll in the evening at Bellagio and viewing their famous fountain show. Then, pass by the famous architecture and fountains of Caesars Palace and stop into Serendipity 3 for their famous Frozzzen Hot Chocolate. Continue on your stroll past the world famous Forum Shops and then stop at the Mirage to watch their volcano erupt.
Are there any quirky places we should check out?
I love anything quirky and in Las Vegas there are a lot of options! I would suggest my favorite bar crawl which highlights old Las Vegas. The first bar I would visit is Don’t Tell Mama. This bar is a really cute piano bar with a heavy dose of Adele and Lady Gaga covers. You then cross the street to Insert Coin(s).This lounge features dozens of classic arcade video games like Frogger and Pac Man.
After Insert Coin(s), you travel one block to Drink & Drag, a bowling alley and nightclub run by Drag Queens. All three bars will leave you plenty to discuss the next day! For a group looking for something a little tamer, there are tons of interesting places to visit here like the Neon Museum or even some of the unique outlets in the Forum Shops.
What is an unusual request from a group you’ve had?
I’ve received lots of unusual requests, but the group request that stands out happened when I was Hotel Manager at a resort in Wisconsin. A paid block of rooms for a bachelor party asked me to book a ballroom for them to stay in versus a suite so they could be noisy and have ample space. They also asked for extra towels and sheets to be delivered, and for me to be the housekeeper the next day.
A party of 12 wants to have dinner right away. What restaurant can accommodate last-minute requests of this size?
Las Vegas has so many restaurants that accommodating a last-minute dining request is something we can always assist with. We’ll work with the group to narrow down cuisine and budget. I just did a search and found over 50 options. Highlights within Caesars Palace and the adjacent Forum Shops include Beijing Noodle 9, Max Brenner, and Spago by Wolfgang Puck.
What’s a unique event that has taken place at your property?
We recently welcomed our newest Colosseum headliner Shania Twain, whose show, SHANIA: STILL THE ONE, started December 1. Her entrance was truly done in Las Vegas-style. She arrived on horseback following a posse of 40 horses down a closed section of the Las Vegas Strip! Her fans were gathered all around the front of the property to get a glimpse of her.
