The Chicago Tribune reports that the owners of the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball team have proposed a new nearby hotel, in conjunction with a $300 million renovation of the ballpack, which will be 100 years old in 2014 and is the oldest stadium in the National League.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts has reportedly agreed to develop a boutique property on the corner of Clark and Addison streets, near the Friendly Confines.
