Hopefully your Valentine's Day bouquet won't be expensive as the new Tulip sculpture on display at the Wynn Las Vegas. After purchasing the piece by American artist Jeff Koons at auction for more than $33 million last year, hotel mogul Steve Wynn has placed the large, colorful sculpture in the Wynn theater's rotunda.
Made from stainless steel and covered with transparent colored coating, the artist has reportedly described the piece a "a symbol of hope and the strength of life's energy."
Tulips was previously displayed in the Guggenheim Bilbao.
Wynn is an art collector and often purchases expensive works to display in his hotels.
The item was auctioned by Christie's.
