LOS ANGELES
Sierra Nevada Lodge has officially reopened after an extensive three-year multi-million dollar renovation that includes improvements to the key guest accommodations, activity facilities and infrastructure of the resort.
As part of the refurbishment, six chalets and 15 fireplace suites were newly constructed, aiming to capture the lodge’s vision of a cozy and inviting resort. Located adjacent to the Sierra Nevada Lodge, each chalet, a spacious, bi-level townhouse, features fresh mountain air, and views of Mammoth and the surrounding village. Lux details of the fireplace suites include a gas stone fireplace, resort-style kitchen complete with granite countertops, and new bathrooms featuring large hand-hewed sink counters, waterfall showers, and deep soaking tubs. The spacious three-bedroom chalets feature full kitchens with butcher-block countertops, wood burning fireplaces, and 46” LCD HD televisions in each living room. In addition, the rustic resort offers 64 deluxe rooms, complete with sound-proof windows, flat-screen HD TVs, mini-refrigerators, in-room safes, and brand new décor.
Additional hotel amenities include an on-site rental shop, complimentary airport shuttle service, sauna, laundry facility, conference room, and pet-friendly room, not to mention the largest hot tub in Mammoth that can seat up to 24.
Sierra Nevada Lodge also boasts three stand-alone restaurants located adjacent to the property.
Sierra Nevada Lodge, a family owned, 149-room hotel, is situated on six acres in the heart of Mammoth Lakes. The hotel was originally built in 1967 by Jerry Buss, former owner of the Los Angeles Lakers.
