SAN FRANCISCO
The San Francisco Marriott Marquis is set to complete the final phase of its $90 million, 10-year transformation.
The hotel has been completely transformed and modernized with the most recent projects encompassing the lobby, meeting space, fitness center, Bin 55 Restaurant and Wine Bar, Mission Grill, Starbucks Cafe, and second floor atrium. Specific changes to the function space include raising the ceiling in the Golden Gate Ballroom, remodeling the second-floor Atrium to create contiguous event space, and adding 10 breakouts.
Every guest room in the hotel will undergo renovations that will include new wallpaper, carpet, drapery, lighting fixtures, and seating elements. The rooms will be updated to include new Internet cabling as well as brightening of the guestroom corridors. The project will be completed by June or July.
