Going ‘Global’: Massive New Cleveland Venue Rebrands

CLEVELAND

The 235,000-square-foot Medical Mart, opening in October, has been renamed the Global Center for Health Innovation. The change came after the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) announced the addition of a HIMSS Innovation Center that will be located on the fourth level of the new Global Center.

HIMSS joins the Cleveland Clinic, GE Healthcare, Johnson Controls, University Hospitals and Philips Healthcare as charter tenants in the Global Center.

The $465 million Global Center for Health Innovation and the city’s newly refurbished convention center are part of a one-million square-foot campus in the heart of downtown Cleveland.
