Bluegrass Boost: Lexington Lodging Upgrades Meeting Space and More

LEXINGTON, Ky.

Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa recently completed its extensive guest room renovation project. The $5 million accommodation revitalization completes phase one of the hotel's three-year renovation plan.

Guest rooms feature new furniture, carpeting, stylish accents, such as vinyl head boards, desks and lighting, Tempur-Pedic mattresses, and new patio furniture. In addition, technology enhancements, including wireless Internet access, HD TVs, MP3 players and video connectivity, modern bathroom amenities and locally inspired artwork aiming to deliver the full combination of contemporary style and horse country charm.

The resort also renovated its hospitality and presidential suites for corporate, social or bridal entertaining. Other enhancements include the transformation to the Elmendorf and Spendthrift meeting rooms, which provide a location for trainings, board meetings, product launches or intimate social events.

The property offers 395 guest rooms and 28,000 square feet of meeting space.
