What service can you provide to groups that they normally might not receive?
I can provide recommendations on group and team building activities and tours that best fit the groups' interests such as rainforest hikes, canoe races, stand-up paddle board competitions, Doris Duke Estate private tours, Iolani Palace private tours, shark dives, and trail rides (mountain or road) via Bike Hawaii...to name a few.
What are your bar or nightclub recommendations?
Addiction Nightclub of course! Also, Vice Nightclub, Pearl Ultralounge, Bar 35, The Republik and Indigo.
Can you recommend a good place to take a stroll?
Ala Moana Beach Park and Waikiki Beach are ideal settings to take a stroll and enjoy the beautiful scenery Honolulu has to offer.
Are there any quirky places we should check out?
There are a few unique places, which I would recommend experiencing, including Giovanni’s Aloha Shrimp truck, Eat the Street food truck rally (last Friday of every month), and First Friday, which is held downtown in Honolulu’s Chinatown.
A party of 12 wants to have dinner right away. What restaurant can accommodate last-minute requests of this size?
I would recommend Morimoto Waikiki, but there are other restaurants too, depending on what type of cuisine the group wants.
What’s a unique event that has taken place at your property?
The Modern Honolulu has been host to a lot of unique events, including Stoli’s Summer/Winter Series Pool Party, the annual Hawaii Food and Wine Festival, and the Moet & Chandon Ice Imperial VIP Pool Party.
