NEW YORK, NY
The New York Hilton Midtown, a 2,000-room property located on Manhattan’s Avenue of the Americas, has reportedly made the decision to stop extending room service to its guests this summer.
Hilton has shown no indication to date of adopting the approach at its thousands of additional hotel properties around the world, though the industry expects to see other imitators potentially following in the footsteps of the large midtown property.
To placate its hungry guests seeking a convenient meal, the Hilton Midtown plans to open a gourmet on-site eatery with high-end takeout items.
