CANCUN, Mexico
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Promotora TIIM have announced that Starwood's Aloft brand has made its debut in Cancun, Mexico. Aloft Cancun is located in the Hotel Zone, adjacent to Cancun Center, the city's convention and exhibition center, and walking distance from dining, shopping and nightlife.
Aloft Cancun offers 177 loft-like rooms featuring nine-foot ceilings and oversized windows to create a bright, airy environment.
The new property also features atmospheric public spaces where visitors will be able to mix and mingle, read the paper, work on laptops, play a game of pool or grab a drink with friends. The hotel will also have a rooftop pool and café as well as a gym—and will boast approximately 6,500 square feet of banquet and meeting space.
