PHILADELPHIA
Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel today announced the launch of a multi-million dollar renovation which will include an expansive revitalization of the hotel's lobby as well as a state-of-the-art redesign of meeting spaces and The Liberty Ballroom. The renovation is scheduled to be completed in August 2013.
The renewal of the lobby begins with making the area more centrally located and provide direct access to the improved Link Cafe kiosk, featuring an expanded Starbucks. Major enhancements to the entryway and guest elevators are also being completed to ensure seamless guest arrivals.
Another bonus is the newly created Library, a shared environment within the lobby. And those looking for a relaxed and casual dining experience will be able to enjoy the refurbished Terrace Restaurant for a la carte dining or buffet breakfast.
The Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown also recently completed a comprehensive overhaul of its fitness center to implement the Sheraton Fitness, with cardio equipment, targeted strength-training machines and workbenches and free weights. In addition, the indoor swimming pool has also been upgraded with enhancements to the pool area and furniture.
The Liberty Ballroom, which boasts more than 20,000+ square feet and is the second largest of its kind in Philadelphia, along with The Horizons Ballroom located on the hotel rooftop, will also undergo improvements including wall coverings, decor and carpet.
