Marriott International, Inc. has announced plans to open the 250-room Moscow Marriott Hotel Crocus City in Russia under a management agreement with CJSC Crocus International. The hotel is expected to open in 2016 and will be part of the company's signature global brand, Marriott Hotels, and 10th property opened or signed in the Moscow area.
The Moscow Marriott Hotel Crocus City will be located within a new shopping and residential complex in Crocus City, a satellite city of Moscow and well-known business district. Russia's biggest trade fair and exhibition venue, Crocus Expo, will be a few minutes' walk from the hotel together with a luxury shopping mall, concert hall and multitude of restaurants and bars. Crocus City is very well connected with a private metro station, marina on the Moskva River and heliport.
Overlooking the river, the hotel will offer contemporary accommodation across its 250 rooms. Public areas will boast free Wi-Fi, promoting productivity and connectivity, while the lobby will provide a space to work, relax and recharge by merging modern, stylish design, comfort and technology. The hotel's two restaurants and bars will offer guests an array of dining options.
Leisure facilities will include a health and leisure club with an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and treatment room. Meetings will be catered for across the hotel's 1,550 square meters of meeting space, featuring a 650-square-meter ballroom divisible by four, six flexible meeting rooms and two boardrooms.
