SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.
San Francisco’s Sir Francis Drake Hotel completed a $10 million renovation, updating guest rooms and public spaces. The Kimpton property is located in Union Square and offers 416 guest rooms.
The hotel is celebrating its 85th anniversary this year, and many of the details reference its glamorous past; from new decor to the secret “prohibition room” that formerly operated as a speakeasy.
Meeting and event spaces total more than 18,000 square feet, including the famous Starlight Room on the 21st level, which is home to panoramic views of the city and retro nightclub performances in the evening.
