Elegant Napa Resort Opens New Vineyard Venue

NAPA, Calif.

The Meritage Resort and Spa has just opened a deck in its hillside of vineyards for special events and wine receptions. The vineyard deck will help to complement the resort’s other function venues, including the two largest ballrooms in the Napa Valley, the Estate Cave, Our Lady of the Grapes Chapel, three four-season covered terraces and its event piazza.

The new Meritage Vineyard Deck is nestled in the hillside of vineyards located directly behind The Meritage Resort and Spa. With nine acres of vineyards, California Oaks and the Grape Crusher Statue in view, the focal point for many events will be the charming wrought iron gazebo and grapevines in the background.

The 1,968-square-foot Vineyard Deck can host events of up to 200 and also includes 143 square feet under the gazebo and a 1,329-square-foot pre-function deck. It is constructed with composite wood evoking an old-world, natural style, blending into the environment. The vineyard deck also includes landscaping and a railing to match existing metal work currently on the resort’s balconies and can be accessed via the stairs near the entrance to the Estate Cave. An access road has been improved to allow for ADA access and event deliveries.

The Meritage Resort and Spa has 50,000 square feet of event space including the two largest ballrooms north of San Francisco and west of Sacramento. The resort features 322 Tuscan-inspired guestrooms and luxury suites, seasonal farm-to-table cuisine at the Siena Restaurant and wine tasting in the Estate Cave featuring Trinitas Cellars.
