Hilton Rebrand for Historic Puerto Rican Hotel

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico

Hilton Hotels & Resorts announced the 571-room hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, formerly known as Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza, has been renamed and rebranded as The Condado Plaza Hilton.

Designed by renowned architect Morris Lapidus, the Condado Plaza–the hotel's original name–was inaugurated in 1963. The new name, which places the hotel's original title at the forefront–The Condado Plaza Hilton–represents the significant value placed on the hotel's heritage on the island, as well as Hilton's history in Puerto Rico.

The Condado Plaza Hilton is the fourth Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Puerto Rico, joining Caribe Hilton, San Juan; El San Juan Resort & Casino, A Hilton Hotel; and Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort. The hotel features 41,000 square feet of meeting space, accommodating up to 1,100 guests.
