LEOMINSTER, Ma.
DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the newest addition to its portfolio with the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Leominster. Formerly a Four Points by Sheraton, the hotel commenced an extensive multi-million dollar renovation last month that is expected to complete in spring 2014 and will include enhancements to all areas of the seven-story property. The hotel continues to be managed by Driftwood Hospitality Management.
As the property-wide transformation progresses, the hotel will unveil updates throughout the 188 guestrooms and lobby. An upgraded fitness center will feature new exercise equipment, and updated food and beverage menus will also roll out at the hotel's restaurant.
With nearly 15,000 square feet of function space, DoubleTree by Hilton Leominster is positioned for large- and small-scale meetings. Among the 13 flexible meeting rooms is the largest grand ballroom in Northern Worcester County , a 7,800-plus square-foot Grand Ballroom that showcases 14-foot ceilings and can accommodate up to 900 guests, or can be divided into five separate sections for smaller-scale events. A seasonal outdoor pavilion and gazebo offers a setting for outdoor events for up to 150 people.
Centrally located in New England, DoubleTree by Hilton Leominster is set along the Johnny Appleseed trail, which connects the Freedom trail in Boston to the Mohawk trail in the western part of the state.
