Travel Portland hired Tamara Kennedy-Hill as the director of community relations and Billie Moser as vice president of tourism sales.
Kennedy-Hill is returning to the CVB after working for five years as executive director of the Green Meetings Industry Council (GMIC). She previously served as convention sales manager with Travel Portland. In her new position she will represent the tourism industry in policy meetings and lead the Community Action Committee and the Multicultural Advisory Council.
Moser comes to Portland from the city of Eugene, where she worked as community events manager for the city and PR manager for the the Hult Center for the Performing Arts.
She also gained industry experience during time with Travel Oregon, where she served as program director for international and domestic trade.
