The new Courtyard Minneapolis Downtown is set to open on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.
Located at 1500 Washington Avenue South, the 265-room hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Heartland Realty Investors, Inc. and managed by Wischermann Partners, Inc. of Minnetonka, Minn.
The 14-story hotel features an indoor swimming on the top floor that offers views of downtown and the Mississippi River, a fitness center and guest laundry, and five meeting rooms with 8,200 square feet of meeting space—able to accommodate functions of up to 600 people.
