GRAND CAYMAN
The Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort is up for the challenge of a major guest room makeover, with its four-month renovation now in the works.
The resort expects the remodel project, which will focus on guest rooms, to continue until Nov. 3, 2013. During the enhancement process, the Cayman resort will stay open as usual, and renovations will be done floor by floor to minimize guest disruption.
Modern artwork and color schemes will envelope the island’s natural beach tones, while private balconies and patios will receive new, relaxing furniture. Each piece of upgraded indoor furniture will encompass a Grand Cayman beach house feel, and ultra-comfortable beds will feature crisper, more luxurious linens.
Corridors leading to the reimagined rooms will sport a cool, crisp color palette with plush carpet and new light fixtures as well as decorative art.
Guests of the Cayman resort currently enjoy 273 luxury guest rooms and 21 suites featuring flat-screen, high-definition televisions, high-speed Internet access (for an additional fee), coffeemakers, safes, mini-refrigerators and irons with ironing boards.
The onsite La Mer Spa also offers revitalizing treatments that include aroma and marine therapy, body scrubs and wraps, facials, foot baths, massages and manicures and pedicures.
The property offers travelers a multitude of dining and entertainment options. In addition to numerous local eateries, visitors can choose from four onsite restaurants.
The resort also offers 6,000 square feet of meeting space for planners to consider. More information is available on the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort's website.
