What service can you provide to groups that they normally might not receive?
Apart from the excellent service provided by our angels (hotel attendants), and impeccable product, we can arrange outside entertainment to show the group a true Thai-inspired evening. Popular entertainers come from Phuket’s famous Simon Cabaret Show and they perform a lively concert with lots of color and showcase a little bit of lady boy culture.
What are you bar or nightclub recommendations?
Zazada Beach Club, Paresa's brand new club which opened this month, or Catch Beach Club on Surin beach which is well known as the cool place to hang out in Phuket, right on the beach, with great drinks and music. For Patong we would recommend Seduction or Famous night clubs.
Can you recommend a good place to take a stroll?
For those looking for a vigorous walk, the road from Paresa down to Kamala and back which is about 10 km and a really good cardio work out with, of course, stunning views. For a more leisurely stroll, a walk on Kamala beach is beautiful and relaxing. We provide complimentary shuttles that take our guests to/from to the beach.
Are there any quirky places we should check out?
You should definitely try Ka Jok See in Phuket town for an excellent dinner and a show experience, where everyone ends up on the tables dancing and singing with the staff. Another great place for a drink with an excellent live band in Phuket Town is Sa Nee Ha or The Timber Hut which was just visited by Steven Tyler from Aerosmith.
What is an unusual request from a group you’ve had?
We arranged for a baby elephant to escort the guests from our Miracle Lawn along the pathways of the resort down to the Infinity Pool for dinner on our dramatic deck.
A party of 12 wants to have dinner right away. What restaurants can accommodate last-minute requests of this size?
Both Talung Thai and Diavalo Restaurant at Paresa can accommodate a last minute booking.
Another fabulous spot where you can dine with your feet in the sand is Tast Restaurant or Surin Beach, excellent food and service, and to-die-for views.
What’s a unique event that has taken place at your properly?
We are a member of rainbow hotel, and we have held a number or same-sex weddings, which in Phuket are quite rare, but something we are very proud to be associated with. Same-sex marriages are not legalized in Thailand, but couples take care of the legal part in their own country before arriving in Phuket, where they have a beautiful ceremony and reception.
