WASHINGTON, D.C.
ASAE is taking on a new learning design for the 2013 Technology Conference & Expo, December 4-5, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
Instead of the traditional opening and closing general session, ASAE has structured education around five Pathways that focus on trends and strategies in the technology sector that impact the association community. Each Pathway has its own Thought Leader that will kick-start each one. Attendees will have the ability to create their own mix of learning and networking.
Here are the five pathways and Thought Leaders:
• CEO Pathway: John Mancini, president and CEO, Association for Information and Image Management International
• CIO Pathway: Dion Hinchcliffe, chief strategy officer, Dachis Group
• Content Pathway: Kristina Halverson, owner, Brain Traffic and Karen McGrane, founder, Bond Art & Science
• Mobile Pathway: Herbert Lindo, director of mobility applications consulting, AT&T Mobility
• Technology Pathway: David Coriale, MBA, president, DelCor Technology Solutions
The Technology Conference & Expo is designed for CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, CXOs and other technology professionals. On December 3, ASAE will host a CEO/CIO Pre-Conference Program called, “Technology Perspectives for the Association C-Suite” for CEO/CIOs.
Dan Israel, who heads the government marketing team for Google Enterprise, and Marty Rodgers, who is managing director of human services program at Accenture, will share insight on how technology is changing, what's on the horizon, and how you need to prepare for what's coming down the pike. The CEO/CIO Pre-Conference Program requires a separate registration fee.
The conference will feature more than 40 education sessions within the five pathways as well as four express learning sessions, which are thirty-minute education sessions in the Exhibit Hall. The Exhibit Hall will feature more than 140 exhibitors showcasing technology products and services.
