Denver Marriott Offers High-Tech Incentive

DENVER

A new promotion from the Denver Marriott City Center puts an "I" in team – but only from a technology standpoint.

When meeting planners book 75 cumulative rooms before April 30, 2014, their companies will receive an iPad mini equipped with the new Marriott Meeting Services app. With these tools, event planners can control every aspect of their meetings from the palm of their hands. Connect with Marriott's event professionals with the tap of a finger, or make changes to a request quickly and easily. No longer will it take multiple books, notes, phone numbers and people to plan an event. With the iPad mini and Marriott Meeting Services app, all event information is organized, together and ready to go at all times.

The downtown Denver hotel boasts 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting space divided into 27 rooms. On-site exhibition space also is available. The largest space is the Colorado Ballroom with 14,508 square feet and a maximum capacity of 2,500 people. A key part of Denver event planning includes equipment and services. When hosting a meeting or event at the hotel in Denver, CO, professionals will have access to a full-service business center with computers, printers, high-speed Internet access, catering, copying and faxing. All spaces have high-tech audio and visual equipment including LCD projectors and TVs as well as videoconferencing options.

Event planners have a variety of dining options at the downtown Denver hotel. On-site restaurants such as Allie's American Grille and D-Spot Lounge provide an opportunity for professionals to stretch their legs and refuel for afternoon or evening strategic planning sessions. Organizers with a full agenda can utilize the catering option so guests can eat at their tables while presentations continue. Plated lunches can include bread, soup, bison and bean chili, roasted chicken, turkey croissant sandwich and dessert or a buffet.

Buffet options are the Cowboy Cookout with smoked brisket and rotisserie chicken; the Mediterranean consisting of pomegranate mustard glazed pork and jeweled basmati rice; the Grab 'n Go with sandwiches and salads; Taste of Mexico with cheese enchilada casserole and roasted chicken with charred ranchero sauce; and the Italian consisting of pasta with arugula lemon pesto and pork Bolognese on papparedelle pasta.

Groups staying in the downtown Denver hotel will be treated to spacious guest rooms filled with modern amenities. In-room irons and ironing boards will help attendees look their best before heading out in the morning. Desk-level electrical outlets make charging laptops and cell phones more convenient than ever. When it's time to relax, a flat-screen TV will help lodgers turn off their brains as they relax and sink into luxurious beds topped with cotton-rich linens, down comforters, custom duvets and plenty of fluffy pillows.

The hotel boasts 599 rooms and 14 suites on 20 floors in addition to 27 meeting rooms with 30,000 square feet of flexible space, four concierge levels, two restaurants, Starbucks, fully equipped fitness center and indoor pool.
