Rick Blackburn joined the Greater Palm Springs CVB as vice president of convention sales. He will oversee convention and meeting activities and programs while working to grow mid-week, shoulder season and summer group business.
Blackburn comes to the CVB from La Quinta Resort & Club and PGA WEST, where he served as executive director of sales and marketing.
He has more than 25 years of industry experience, having worked with the Marriott Global Sales team and as director of sales and marketing for The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas.
