BLOOMINGTON & MINNEAPOLIS, Mn.
Rosemont, Illinois-based First Hospitality Group, Inc. (FHG) announced today that it has hired new general managers to hold the leading roles at two of its Minnesota properties: David Moore at the Holiday Inn & Suites Bloomington and Chris Decker at the Hyatt Place Bloomington. First Hospitality Group, Inc. President and COO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.
While new to the FHG team—which assumed management of the Holiday Inn & Suites Bloomington last month—Moore has been with the property for four years as the general manager. An honored military veteran, Moore has more than 15 years of hospitality industry experience serving in various areas of operations, including food & beverage, maintenance and front office.
Decker brings 20 years of experience in hospitality and particular expertise in budget & forecasting and revenue management to the Hyatt Place Bloomington. He specializes in the luxury segment of the hotel market, having previously worked at properties such as the Grand Hotel Minneapolis, Empress Casino and, most recently, the Marriott Madison West.
“At First Hospitality Group, we pride ourselves as being the most effective hotel management company in the Midwest that passionately creates positive growth and profitability,” said Habeeb. “I am confident that Chris and David will exemplify our values and practices in our expanding Minnesota presence.” Both the 200-room Holiday Inn and the 126-room Hyatt Place are conveniently located in the south loop of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and offer complimentary shuttle service to the Mall of America.
